By using ZIPWALL products, the customer’s employees will be able to continue to work during the decontamination process. Valuable time can be salvaged by these workers, time that in the past would have been lost.
Secondary containment is created by tenting off the area where the decontamination is being performed. A blower creates negative pressure within the barrier. This ensures that any gas leaking out of the MCS device connections or the biological safety cabinet under decontamination will stay contained within the barrier and be filtered through a charcoal box. The air exiting the charcoal box will be free of chlorine dioxide gas, allowing for personnel to move freely around the area of decontamination.
