The Decontamination Services at DRS Laboratories is managed by Michael A. Regits. Having been within this field since 1983, Mr. Regits has developed the current protocols used for decontamination by DRS Laboratories, has managed more than 120 large-scale decontamination projects, and is an acknowledged leader in the field.
Michael Regits is supported by Dr. Luftman. Henry Luftman received a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He served for 18 years as an analytical scientist and technical manager within the semiconductor industry and subsequently served as Manager for Decontamination Services at Micro-Clean for 5 years. Since joining DRS Laboratories, he has been involved in multiple decontamination projects and has been exploring alternative technologies that would improve upon the quality, timeliness and cost of our services for clients.
Documentation is provided following the activities of DRS Laboratories decontamination projects. A typical report for space decontamination specifies sealing requirements, biological indicator locations and results, operating temperature and humidity, residual gas concentrations, and surface and drain decontamination procedures.
DRS Laboratories are available to perform decontamination services during evenings or weekends to minimize interference with your standard operations.
